Salt marsh lamb

We sell our frozen, braised, slow cooked salt marsh lamb from the counter in our Café all year round.

Individual cuts or half or whole pre ordered for collection. As we have our own processing facilities on site we can cut to order.  Fresh lamb is seasonal from June to September

Red Bank Farm salt marsh lamb is reared on the unique coastal marshes of Morecambe Bay where the sheep and lambs are allowed to graze freely on the marsh vegetation naturally rich in nourishment.

The tide washed marshes support an abundance of salt tolerant grasses and herbs such as samphire, sparta grass, sorrel, sea lavender and thrift. These help to give the lamb it’s tender texture and unique light flavour.

Our lamb is used in our café with specialities such as our minted lamb burgers and our braised lamb.
